11. Appointment of trustees
Feedback & supportEvery registered organisation shall have one or more trustees.

“registered organisation” means any organisation for the time being registered under this Act;
The trustees shall be appointed at a meeting of the registered organisation and by a resolution of a majority of the members present and entitled to vote.
The registered organisation shall send to the Registrar a copy of every resolution appointing a trustee signed by the trustee so appointed and by the secretary of the registered organisation.
Registrar
“Registrar” means the officer appointed as Registrar of Mutual Benefit Organisations and includes an Assistant Registrar of Mutual Benefit Organisations;
The same person shall not be secretary or treasurer of a registered organisation and a trustee of that registered organisation.
