23. Misconduct or neglect of duty by employee before transfer

The Council may reprimand, reduce in rank, retire, dismiss or punish in some other manner a person transferred to the service of the Council under section 18 for any misconduct or neglect of duty committed prior to 15 October 1991 which would have rendered the person liable to be reprimanded, reduced in rank, retired, dismissed or punished in some other manner by the Government or the National Theatre Trust (as the case may be), as if this Act had not been enacted.
