24. Protection from personal liability

No suit or other legal proceedings shall lie against any member or employee of the Council or other person acting under the directions of the Council for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in the execution or purported execution of this Act.

“member” means a member of the Council and includes the Chairperson and the Deputy Chairperson;

Any expenses incurred by the Council or any member, employee or person acting under the direction of the Council must be borne by and repaid out of the funds of the Council.
