Section 4 — National Council of Social Service Act 1992

(1)

The common seal of the Council must be kept in such custody as the Board may direct.

(2)

All deeds, documents and other instruments requiring the seal of the Council must —

(a)

be sealed with the common seal of the Council; and

(b)

be signed by the president and the Chief Executive Officer or some other person duly authorised by the Board for the purpose.

(3)

All courts, judges and persons acting judicially are to take judicial notice of the common seal of the Council affixed to any document and presume that it was duly affixed.

(4)

Section 11 of the Registration of Deeds Act 1988 does not apply to any instrument purporting to have been executed under subsection (2).
