19. Transfer of officers and cadets

All persons who, immediately before 1 April 1975, were officers appointed or persons enrolled in the Police Cadet Corps shall be deemed to be officers appointed or persons enrolled under this Act, as the case may be; and such officers and persons so appointed and enrolled respectively, shall have the rank and seniority not less favourable than those allowed to them immediately before 1 April 1975.
