Duration of appointment, vacancies, etc.
Subregulation 1
The members of the panel shall each hold office for a term of one year from the date of their respective nominations and shall be eligible for renomination on completion of that period.
Subregulation 2
The Minister may revoke the nomination of any member of the panel without assigning any reason.
Subregulation 3
The seat of a member of the panel shall become vacant —
on his death;
if he resigns his seat; or
if his appointment is revoked under paragraph (2).
Subregulation 4
If a vacancy occurs in the panel of members, the body whose nominee the former holder of the vacant seat was shall nominate another person to fill the vacancy.
Subregulation 5
A person nominated under paragraph (4) shall hold office for so long as the member in whose place he is nominated would have held office.
Subregulation 6
The Minister may appoint a Secretary to the Board.
