Regulation 23
Subregulation 1
A person must not knowingly use the National Pledge —
(a)
for a commercial purpose; or
(b)
as a means of advertisement or for the purpose of any advertisement,unless the Minister approves the use.
Subregulation 2
The Minister must not give approval under paragraph (1) unless the Minister is satisfied that the use of the National Pledge will not give rise to disrespect to the National Pledge.
Subregulation 3
A person who contravenes paragraph (1) commits an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
