Regulation 26

No distortion of National Coat of Arms

Subregulation 1

A person must not knowingly make, use or display an image or object that is or includes a distorted or otherwise modified design of the National Coat of Arms.

Subregulation 2

Paragraph (1) does not apply in relation to the symbol of a Government department.

Subregulation 3

A person who contravenes paragraph (1) commits an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $30,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
