Citation and commencement

Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Online Safety (Relief and Accountability) (Exclusion of Liability) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 29 June 2026.
Prescribed matters under section 102(3) of Act
For the purposes of section 102(3) of the Act, the following matters are prescribed:
the strength of the bargaining positions of the parties relative to each other;
the extent to which the provision or term of the contract, agreement or notice makes it more convenient or cost‑effective to resolve any dispute between any of the parties that leads or may lead to a party making a claim under Part 11 or 12 of the Act as compared to where the contract, agreement or notice does not contain the provision or term.
