Regulation 5
Removal and storage charges for vehicle removed and detained under section 15(2) of Act
Subregulation 1
Where a vehicle is removed and detained by an enforcement officer under section 15(2) of the Act, the charges that must be paid for the release of the vehicle under section 15(4) of the Act are —
a removal charge at the rate specified in the second column of Part 3 of the Schedule opposite the type of vehicle concerned; and
a storage charge at the rate specified in the third column of Part 3 of the Schedule for each period of 24 hours or part thereof during which the vehicle is detained.
Subregulation 2
In counting the period a vehicle is detained, the time starts immediately after the end of the day the vehicle is removed or detained, whichever last happens.
