Regulation 19

Disqualifying convictions for other Singapore travel documents

For the purposes of section 20(2)(c) of the Act, the Controller may, by written notice, refuse a Singapore travel document to any person if the Controller believes on reasonable grounds that the person has, in the 3 years before the application for the Singapore travel document is made, been convicted of —

(a)

an offence under the Act or the repealed Act; or

(b)

an arrestable offence under any provision specified in Part 1 of the Third Schedule.
