Section 40

The Minister may by order prescribe the purposes for which police officers may proceed for service outside Singapore as provided in section 6, or, in compliance with a request of the government of Malaysia, to Malaysia, and the Minister may, whenever he considers it necessary, direct such number of police officers as to him may seem expedient to proceed for service accordingly.
