94. Medical practitioner of choice

The person must be allowed to be seen by a medical practitioner of the person’s choice on any working day at any reasonable time, and in the sight, but not in the hearing, of a prison officer if —
(a)
the person is awaiting trial; and
(b)
it is necessary for the purposes of the person’s defence in criminal proceedings in which the person is an accused person.
