10. Conditions for issue of Part 3 Directions
Feedback & supportAny Minister may instruct the Competent Authority to issue a Part 3 Direction if all of the following conditions are satisfied:
a false statement of fact (called in this Part the subject statement) has been or is being communicated in Singapore;
the Minister is of the opinion that it is in the public interest to issue the Direction.
Any Minister may instruct the Competent Authority to issue a Part 3 Direction in relation to the subject statement even if it has been amended or has ceased to be communicated in Singapore.
Part 3 Direction
“Part 3 Direction” means a Correction Direction or a Stop Communication Direction;
