Public Entertainment Appeal Board
of Public Entertainments Act 1958
(1)
A Public Entertainment Appeal Board is established, comprising a chairperson, a vice‑chairperson and 5 other members, all of whom are appointed by the Minister charged with the responsibility for public entertainments.
(2)
An individual must not be appointed to the Public Entertainment Appeal Board if the individual is directly or indirectly involved in the provision of public entertainment or arts entertainment.
(3)
The Minister must appoint a public officer as a secretary to the Public Entertainment Appeal Board.
(4)
All members of the Public Entertainment Appeal Board are deemed to be public servants for the purposes of the Penal Code 1871.[16AA
