34. Information for carriers
Feedback & supportThe consignor shall provide in the transport documents a statement, in such languages as the carrier deems necessary, regarding safety and the actions, if any, that are required to be taken by the carrier including the following:
supplementary operational requirements for loading, stowage, transport, handling and unloading of the package, overpack or freight container including any special stowage provisions for the safe dissipation of heat, or a statement that no such requirements are necessary;
restrictions on the mode of transport or conveyance and any necessary routing instructions; and
emergency arrangements setting out the plan of action to be taken in the event of an emergency involving the consignment.
The consignor shall, at the request of the carrier, furnish all certificates of approval issued in respect of the consignment to the carrier before loading, unloading and any transhipment.
