Requirements for Type B(M) packages
Subregulation 1
Except as otherwise provided in paragraph (2), a Type B(M) package shall meet the requirements for Type B(U) packages specified in regulation 48 as far as practicable, except that for packages to be transported solely within Singapore or solely between Singapore and other specified countries, conditions other than those given in regulation 48(5), (6) and (18) may be assumed with the approval of the Chief Executive.
Subregulation 2
Intermittent venting of Type B(M) packages may be permitted during transport if the operational controls for venting are acceptable to the Chief Executive.
