Section 6

Private land may be acquired for railway

(1)

Such of the lands shown on such plans and book of reference as are required for the purposes of such railway shall be deemed to be land required for a public purpose within the meaning of the Land Acquisition Act 1966.

(2)

Proceedings under the Land Acquisition Act 1966 shall be taken separately in respect of each holding mentioned in the book of reference.
