Security for costs
Subregulation 1
If a party in any proceedings before the Registrar neither resides nor carries on business in Singapore, the Registrar may require him to give security for costs in such form and amount as the Registrar considers sufficient.
Subregulation 2
If the Registrar requires any party making an application or request under these Rules to give security for costs and the party fails to comply with the requirement of the Registrar, the Registrar may treat the application or request as abandoned or withdrawn.
