Verification of delivery
Subregulation 1
Where the export of any goods to Singapore is authorised by the exporting country subject to the receipt by the government or any other competent authority of the exporting country of a delivery verification certificate, the importer of the goods shall, within 14 days of the arrival of all the goods or any quantity thereof in Singapore, submit to the Director-General for the purpose of applying for the delivery verification certificate —
the import certificate issued in respect of the goods together with particulars of the date of the arrival of the goods, the quantity of the goods, and the name of the vessel or the flight number of the aircraft in which the goods were so imported;
the import permit for the import of the goods; and
such other document as the Director-General may require.
Subregulation 2
On receipt of the documents specified in paragraph (1), the Director-General may issue a delivery verification certificate for the goods or any quantity thereof that were imported into Singapore.
Subregulation 3
The importer shall, on receipt of the delivery verification certificate, forward the certificate forthwith to the foreign exporter of the goods.
