26. Definitions for Part 9

In this Part —“end-user certificate”, in relation to goods subject to foreign export control, means a certificate that —

contains the following particulars:

the description, type and quantity of the goods to be imported into, transhipped in or transited through Singapore;

the country or region of final destination of the goods;

the name and address of the end-user of the goods;

the purpose for which the goods are to be used; (v)any other information that the Director‑General requires; and

is accompanied by an undertaking by the end‑user that the goods will only be used for the purpose specified in the certificate and will not, without the prior approval of the Director‑General —

be re-exported from the country or region of final destination;

be re-transferred to a person other than the end-user; or

be used for any purpose other than the declared purpose;“validity period”, in relation to any import certificate, has the meaning given by regulation 28.
