Section 73

It is not lawful for more than one person in addition to the driver to be carried on any two-wheeled motor cycle nor is it lawful for that one person to be so carried otherwise than sitting astride the motor cycle and on a proper seat securely fixed to the motor cycle behind the driver’s seat.

If any person is carried on any such motor cycle in contravention of this section, the driver of the motor cycle shall be guilty of an offence.
