33B. Re-registration of conventional cars as electric cars, petrol‑electric cars or diesel-electric cars
Feedback & supportUpon the application by the owner of a conventional car in the form determined by the Registrar, the Registrar may, if satisfied that the conventional car has been converted into an electric car, a petrol-electric car or a diesel-electric car, re-register the conventional car as an electric car, a petrol‑electric car or a diesel‑electric car, as the case may be.
In granting an application under paragraph (1), the Registrar may impose such conditions as he thinks fit.
Subregulation 1
Upon the application by the owner of a conventional car in the form determined by the Registrar, the Registrar may, if satisfied that the conventional car has been converted into an electric car, a petrol-electric car or a diesel-electric car, re-register the conventional car as an electric car, a petrol‑electric car or a diesel‑electric car, as the case may be.

In granting an application under paragraph (1), the Registrar may impose such conditions as he thinks fit.
