Regulation 66

Adjournment

Subregulation 1

During a trial, the court may adjourn from time to time and from place to place as the interests of justice require.

Subregulation 2

A field general court martial which does not have —

(a)

a judge advocate appointed to officiate therein; or

(b)

a president or other member who is a qualified person,may adjourn at any time to consult the convening authority on a point of law.

Subregulation 3

If during a trial any matter emerges which makes it advisable that the court should not continue to hear the case, the court shall adjourn and report to the convening authority on the matter.
