Constitution of Board of Governors

Section 4
(1)
A body called the Board of Governors of the Singapore Polytechnic is constituted, which is a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal and which may sue and be sued in its corporate name.
(2)
The Board consists of the following members:
(a)
a Chairperson;
(b)
a Deputy Chairperson;
(c)
the Principal; and
(d)
such other persons, not being less than 9 or more than 15, as the Minister may determine.
(3)
Every member of the Board, except the Principal, is to be appointed by the Minister and, unless the Minister otherwise directs, holds office for a period of 3 years from the date of the appointment and is eligible for re‑appointment.
