Assignee bound by covenants in State grants or leases, etc.
(1)
An assignee of, or any person who becomes a proprietor of, any land in Singapore is bound by the exceptions, reservations or covenants (restrictive or otherwise) contained in the Crown grant or lease, or State grant or lease, irrespective of whether the assignee or proprietor has notice (actual or constructive) of such exceptions, reservations or covenants.

This section applies to all grants and leases issued before, on or after 15 January 1981.[8
