Waiver of requirements
Subregulation 1
The Minister charged with the responsibility for social services or the Deputy Secretary to the Ministry of Social and Family Development may waive the requirement to be a specified member under regulation 3(1)(b), 4(1)(b), 4A(1)(b) or 4B(1)(b) in relation to any member.
Subregulation 2
The Board may waive, in relation to any member, any other requirement under paragraph (3) or regulation 3, 4, 4A, 4B, 4BA or 4BB.
Subregulation 3
If a member wants a requirement to be waived under this regulation the member must —
apply on or before the specified date in the form and manner required by the Board; and
give the Board (within the time required by the Board) any information or documents in support of the member’s application or which the Board requests from the member.
