Affidavits

Subregulation 1

An affidavit for use in proceedings before the Court —

(a)

must be on foolscap paper;

(b)

must be legibly written, typewritten or printed on one side of the paper only so that one‑quarter of the page is left as a margin;

(c)

must be signed on each page by the deponent and the person before whom it is made; and

(d)

must be made before the Registrar or a person authorised under the Supreme Court of Judicature Act 1969 to take an affidavit.

A copy of an affidavit filed in support of a document which is to be served on another party must be served with that document.
