Automatic Dependent Surveillance — Broadcast (out) (ADS‑B (out))
Subregulation 1
An AOC holder must ensure that every small aeroplane with an MCTOM exceeding 5,700 kg is equipped with ADS‑B (out) capability.
Subregulation 2
In this regulation, “ADS-B (out) capability” means the function by which an aeroplane is capable of automatically transmitting data (such as aircraft identification, aircraft position and other information, as appropriate) in a broadcast mode via a data link.
