Cosmic radiation detection equipment
Subregulation 1
An AOC holder must ensure that every small aeroplane that is to be flown at an altitude above 49,000 ft carries equipment to measure and continuously indicate the dose rate of total cosmic radiation being received and the cumulative dose for every such flight.
Subregulation 2
The display unit of the equipment provided for the purposes of paragraph (1) must be readily visible to a flight crew member.
