Checklists for flight crew
Subregulation 1
An AOC holder must ensure that every person assigned duty as a flight crew member for a flight of a relevant aircraft is provided with the checklists of aircraft procedures for normal, abnormal and emergency situations.
Subregulation 2
An AOC holder must ensure that every checklist provided in accordance with paragraph (1) is designed in accordance with human factors principles and contains sufficient information to enable a flight crew member to comply with the requirements of —
the aircraft’s flight manual;
the Operations Manual; and
such other documents as may be associated with the Certificate of Airworthiness.
Subregulation 3
An AOC holder must ensure that flight crew operating procedures incorporate the use of appropriate checklists for normal, abnormal and emergency situations in all phases of aircraft operations.
Subregulation 4
An AOC holder must ensure that every flight crew member for a flight of a relevant aircraft uses the appropriate checklists before, during and after all phases of aircraft operation.
