Regulation 37

Expedited review of countervailing duty for exporters not examined

Subregulation 1

Where a countervailing duty has been imposed on goods exported by an exporter who was not actually investigated for reasons other than a refusal to cooperate, the Minister must promptly initiate an expedited review under section 12(1)(f) of the Act.

Subregulation 2

Any review conducted under paragraph (1) must be completed within 6 months of the date of publication of the notice of initiation of the review.
