Scope of investigation to be determined
Subregulation 1
Upon receipt of the countervailing or anti‑dumping duty petition, the Minister must review the petition and determine the goods that are to be within the scope of the investigation and whether the petitioner is submitting the petition on behalf of the domestic industry producing those goods.
Subregulation 2
The Minister may, where appropriate, segregate the subject goods and initiate separate investigation thereof.
