Time period for supplier

Subregulation 1

A contracting authority must, unless it is inconsistent with the contracting authority’s reasonable requirements, provide sufficient time period for suppliers to prepare and submit requests for participations and tenders, taking into account —

(a)

the nature and complexity of the procurement;

(b)

the extent of anticipated sub‑contracting; and

(c)

the normal time taken for the transmission of tenders by post from foreign as well as local suppliers in the case where electronic means are not used by the contracting authority.

Subregulation 2

The time period referred to in paragraph (1), including any extension of the time period, must be the same for all interested or participating suppliers.
