3. Authorisation for covered pedestrian linkways
Feedback & supportSubject to paragraphs 4 and 5 and any other written law, the following operations involving the development of land, carried out by any statutory authority, are authorised under section 21(6) of the Act:
the construction of a covered pedestrian linkway which is not within the boundaries of a street;
the carrying out of works for the maintenance or improvement of a covered pedestrian linkway which is not within the boundaries of a street.
Subject to paragraphs 4 and 5 and any other written law, the following operations involving the development of land, carried out by any Town Council, are authorised under section 21(6) of the Act:
the construction of a covered pedestrian linkway;
the carrying out of works for the maintenance or improvement of a covered pedestrian linkway.
