This Notification is the Wholesome Meat and Fish (Leong Hup Distribution Pte. Ltd. — Exemption) Notification 2026 and comes into operation on 30 April 2026.

In this Notification —“lot” means a part of the relevant consignment which is assigned a specific lot and sub‑lot number in the relevant invoice;“relevant consignment” means a consignment of 23,990 kg in total weight of frozen skinless and boneless chicken legs (comprising 2,000 cartons in 9 lots) which —

(a)

is the subject of consignment permit number IG5A584157G granted under Part 2 of the Act;

(b)

was imported on 25 January 2025 by Leong Hup Distribution Pte. Ltd. from Silver Farm Center Co., Ltd. (an entity located in the Kingdom of Thailand);

(c)

is the subject of the Health Certificate number AC25103696 dated 15 January 2025 issued at Bangkok by the Department of Livestock Development, Ministry of Agriculture and Co‑operatives, Kingdom of Thailand;

(d)

was inspected and examined under section 10(1) of the Act and, by reason of being found to be adulterated on 21 February 2025, was placed under the Agency’s official seal via a sealing notice dated 20 March 2025; and

(e)

is stored under the Agency’s official seal at 31 Fishery Port Road, Singapore 619741;“relevant invoice” means invoice number 2025‑00004 dated 13 January 2025 issued by Silver Farm Center Co., Ltd. for the relevant consignment.

Exemption from obligation to destroy or re‑export relevant consignment

Section 10(2)(b) of the Act does not apply to Leong Hup Distribution Pte. Ltd. in respect of the relevant consignment for the period starting on 30 April 2026 and ending on 4 November 2026.

Regulation 4

Exemption from prohibition against selling or supplying adulterated meat product

Section 23(1)(h) of the Act does not apply to Leong Hup Distribution Pte. Ltd. in respect of it —

(a)

selling or supplying to Leong Hup Food Pte. Ltd. any lot within the period starting on 30 April 2026 and ending on the date specified in the Schedule against the lot and sub-lot number assigned to that lot; and

(b)

having in its possession any lot for the purpose of selling or supplying the lot in accordance with sub‑paragraph (a).
