Regulation 6

An application for an electrical worker licence or renewal of such licence shall be made to the Authority in such form as may be provided by the Authority and shall be accompanied by the appropriate fee specified in the Schedule.

An application for an electrical worker licence or renewal of such licence shall be accompanied by such testimonials or other evidence of experience, character and competence as the Authority may, either generally or in any particular case, require.

Every fact and document stated or submitted in, or in support of, an application for an electrical worker licence or renewal of such licence, and every expression of opinion so stated shall, if required by the Authority, be verified by a statutory declaration made by the applicant.

An application for the renewal of an electrical worker licence shall be submitted to the Authority not later than one month prior to the date of expiry of the licence.

The Authority may, in its discretion, reject an application for an electrical worker licence from any person whose licence was previously cancelled or suspended.
