Appeals Secretary

Subregulation 1

The Minister may appoint any public officer to be the Appeals Secretary for the purposes of these Regulations.

The Appeals Secretary must —

(a)

provide administrative and secretarial support to the Minister in relation to every appeal under section 98 of the Act; and

(b)

if the Minister determines that any hearing is necessary for the purpose of determining an appeal, attend at every such hearing.
