Making appeal: Notice of Appeal
Subregulation 1
An appeal to the Minister is made by filing with the Minister, within the time mentioned in paragraph (2) —
a duly signed original of a Notice of Appeal; and
3 copies of the Notice, each certified to be in conformity with the original by the person who signed the original.
Subregulation 2
The time for the purpose of paragraph (1) is as follows:
for an appeal against a decision or direction of the Authority mentioned in section 98(1) of the Act brought by a person aggrieved by the decision or direction, within 14 days after the person is notified of the decision or direction;
for an appeal in respect of anything contained in a code of practice or standard of performance issued or approved by the Authority under section 16 of the Act, within 14 days after the thing contained in the code of practice or standard of performance is issued or approved;
for an appeal against a notice issued by the Authority under section 5(2)(b) of the Act, within 7 days of the date of the giving of the notice.
Subregulation 3
Subject to regulation 7(2), upon receipt of the Notice of Appeal, the Appeals Secretary must send a copy of the Notice to the Authority.
