Limited Liability Partnerships (Register of Controllers) Regulations 2022

These Regulations are the Limited Liability Partnerships (Register of Controllers) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 4 October 2022 at 12.01 a.m.

In these Regulations —“identity card” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the National Registration Act 1965;“registered corporate service provider” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Corporate Service Providers Act 2024.

For the purposes of section 47A(3)(b) of the Act, the prescribed particulars of a partner with executive control are —

(ca)email address;

(cb)contact number;

For the purposes of the provisions of Part 6A of the Act set out in the first column of the Second Schedule, the prescribed frequencies, times or periods are set out opposite in the second column of that Schedule.

For the purposes of section 48(3)(b) of the Act as applied by section 49(3) of the Act, the prescribed form of a notice mentioned in section 49(1) of the Act is set out in the Fifth Schedule.

For the purposes of section 48(3)(b) of the Act as applied by section 50(3) of the Act, the prescribed form of a notice mentioned in section 50(1) of the Act is set out in the Sixth Schedule.

For the purposes of section 50A(2)(b) of the Act, the prescribed form of a notice mentioned in section 50A(1) of the Act is set out in the Seventh Schedule.

For the purposes of section 54(3) of the Act, any lodgment made under section 54(2)(b) of the Act must be made through the electronic transaction system established under Part 6A of the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority Act 2004.

The Limited Liability Partnerships (Register of Controllers) Regulations 2017 (G.N. No. S 120/2017) are revoked.
