Notice to be displayed in suspended scaffolds

Regulation 50
Subregulation 1
It shall be the duty of the responsible person to prominently display a notice in the cradle of a suspended scaffold in a workplace that is in a form readily understood by any person —
(a)
stating the safe working load of the suspended scaffold;
(b)
stating the maximum number of persons allowed to be in the suspended scaffold; and
(c)
reminding the person to attach his safety harness to a secured anchorage at all times.
Subregulation 2
It shall be the duty of the occupier of the workplace to ensure that the notice referred to in paragraph (1) is displayed at all times until the suspended scaffold is dismantled.
