Regulation 48
Use of wire rope
It shall be the duty of the occupier of a worksite where any cantilevered platform is used therein to ensure that —
(a)
no wire rope shall be used as a load bearing element in a cantilevered platform used in the worksite unless it is terminated with eyes that have been fitted with thimbles; and
(b)
wire rope clips shall not be used for terminating such rope.
