Definitions

In this Order —“applicable health product” means a health product categorised as a medical device or a therapeutic product in the First Schedule to the Act;“exemption period” means the period between 4 July 2025 and 2 September 2025 (both dates inclusive);“medical practitioner” means an individual who is registered temporarily as a medical practitioner under section 23(1)(c) of the Medical Registration Act 1997 and has a valid practising certificate;“medical professional” means a medical practitioner or any other healthcare professional, but does not include a veterinarian;“World Aquatics” means the world governing body for the sport of aquatics known as World Aquatics;“World Aquatics Championships 2025” means the World Aquatics Championships — Singapore 2025 to be held in Singapore between 11 July 2025 and 3 August 2025 (both dates inclusive);“World Aquatics delegation” means a group of persons comprising athletes selected to compete at the World Aquatics Championships 2025 as representatives of a World Aquatics Member Federation, and their respective coaches, medical professionals and officials;“World Aquatics Member Federation” means a national federation affiliated to World Aquatics in a country or a geographical territory or region recognised by World Aquatics.

“World Aquatics delegation” means a group of persons comprising athletes selected to compete at the World Aquatics Championships 2025 as representatives of a World Aquatics Member Federation, and their respective coaches, medical professionals and officials;

Definition

“World Aquatics Member Federation” means a national federation affiliated to World Aquatics in a country or a geographical territory or region recognised by World Aquatics.
