Criminal conviction
Subregulation 1
The Authority may, where an officer is convicted of a criminal charge, consider the record of the proceedings of the court and may, if it is of the opinion that the officer should be dismissed, reduced in rank, or otherwise punished, punish the officer accordingly after he has been given a reasonable opportunity of being heard.
Subregulation 2
The Authority shall not be obliged to appoint a Committee in the circumstances set out in paragraph (1).
