27. Medical examination
Feedback & supportIf the registered allied health professional agrees to submit to a medical examination by the medical practitioners appointed by a Health Committee in response to an invitation sent under regulation 26(1)(a), the Health Committee must make arrangements for the examination.
The Health Committee must send to the medical practitioners mentioned in paragraph (1) and any medical practitioner nominated under regulation 26(2)(a) the information received by the Health Committee and must ask them to report to the Health Committee —
on the fitness of the registered allied health professional to practise, either generally or on a limited basis; and
on their recommendations (if any) as to the management of the allied health professional’s case.
Subregulation 1
If the registered allied health professional agrees to submit to a medical examination by the medical practitioners appointed by a Health Committee in response to an invitation sent under regulation 26(1)(a), the Health Committee must make arrangements for the examination.
Subregulation 2
The Health Committee must send to the medical practitioners mentioned in paragraph (1) and any medical practitioner nominated under regulation 26(2)(a) the information received by the Health Committee and must ask them to report to the Health Committee —
on the fitness of the registered allied health professional to practise, either generally or on a limited basis; and
on their recommendations (if any) as to the management of the allied health professional’s case.
