2. Definition of “specified assessor”

For the purposes of the definition of “specified assessor” in section 2(1) of the Act, each of the following persons is a specified assessor:

a person registered as —

a fully registered medical practitioner under section 20 of the Medical Registration Act 1997; or

a medical practitioner with conditional registration under section 21 of the Medical Registration Act 1997;

an allied health professional with full registration as an occupational therapist;

an allied health professional with restricted registration as an occupational therapist to practise “Environmental re‑design and assistive technologies”;

an allied health professional with conditional registration as an occupational therapist.

In paragraph (1), “allied health professional with conditional registration”, “allied health professional with full registration” and “allied health professional with restricted registration” have the meanings given by section 2 of the Allied Health Professions Act 2011.

a medical practitioner with conditional registration under section 21 of the Medical Registration Act 1997;

an allied health professional with full registration as an occupational therapist;

an allied health professional with conditional registration as an occupational therapist.
