Regulation 7

Notice of appointment, etc., under section 191 of IRDA

For the purposes of section 191 of the IRDA —

(a)

the notice of the liquidator’s appointment and of the address of the liquidator’s office mentioned in section 191(1)(a) of the IRDA must be in Form VCC(VWU)‑4, and must contain the following information:

(i)

the name of the VCC being wound up, or the names of the sub‑fund being wound up and the umbrella VCC of that sub‑fund;

(ii)

the registration number of that VCC, or the registration numbers of that sub‑fund and that umbrella VCC;

(iii)

the name and identification number of the liquidator;

(iv)

the date of the liquidator’s appointment;

(v)

the address of the liquidator’s office;

(b)

the notice of the change in the address of the liquidator’s office mentioned in section 191(1)(b) of the IRDA must be in Form VCC(VWU)‑5, and must contain the following information:

(i)

the name of the VCC being wound up, or the names of the sub‑fund being wound up and the umbrella VCC of that sub‑fund;

(ii)

the registration number of that VCC, or the registration numbers of that sub‑fund and that umbrella VCC;

(iii)

the name and identification number of the liquidator;

(iv)

the new address of the liquidator’s office; and

(c)

the notice of the liquidator’s resignation or removal from office mentioned in section 191(3) of the IRDA must be in Form VCC(VWU)‑6, and must contain the following information:

(i)

the name of the VCC being wound up, or the names of the sub‑fund being wound up and the umbrella VCC of that sub‑fund;

(ii)

the registration number of that VCC or the registration numbers of that sub‑fund and that umbrella VCC;

(iii)

the name and identification number of the liquidator;

(iv)

the date of the liquidator’s resignation or removal from office, as the case may be.
