Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Tobacco and Vaporisers Control (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 1 May 2026.

Citation and commencement
These Regulations are the Tobacco and Vaporisers Control (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2026 and come into operation on 1 May 2026.
Compoundable offences
The following offences may be compounded by the Chief Executive or any person authorised by the Chief Executive in writing in accordance with section 34(1) of the Act:
any offence under section 3(3), 5, 7(3), 9(4), 9A(3), 10(1)(a), (b) or (c), 11(1), 12(3), 12A(5) or (6), 13(3), 14(7), 15(8), 16(6), 16A(4) or (5), 17(4), 18(5), 18A(1), 19L(2), 19S(2) or 19W(5) or (8) of the Act;
any offence under regulation 15 of the Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) (Licensing) Regulations 2017 (G.N. No. S 763/2017);
any offence under section 15(6) or (7) or 16(4), (6) or (7) of the Act as in force immediately before 1 May 2026;
any offence reasonably suspected of having been committed before 1 May 2026 under section 3(3) of the Act for contravening section 3(1) of the Act as in force immediately before that date;
any offence reasonably suspected of having been committed before 1 May 2026 under section 5 of the Act in relation to a contravention of section 3(1) of the Act as in force immediately before that date;
any offence reasonably suspected of having been committed before 1 May 2026 under section 17(4) of the Act for contravening section 17(1) of the Act as in force immediately before that date.
Revocation
Revoke the Smoking (Control of Advertisements and Sale of Tobacco) (Composition of Offences) Regulations (Rg 1).
