19C. Sale, etc., of Part 3A product containing specified psychoactive substance

(1)

Except as authorised by this Act, a person commits an offence if the person —

(a)

sells or gives in Singapore, or transports, sends, delivers or distributes within Singapore, any Part 3A product that contains a specified psychoactive substance;

(b)

offers to do any act mentioned in paragraph (a); or

(c)

possesses in Singapore any Part 3A product that contains a specified psychoactive substance for the purpose of doing any act mentioned in paragraph (a).

(2)

A person who is guilty of an offence under subsection (1) shall on conviction be punished with —

(a)

imprisonment for a term of not less than 2 years and not more than 10 years; and

(b)

not less than 2 strokes and not more than 5 strokes of the cane.
