19U. Application of Misuse of Drugs Act 1973 to inmates of approved institutions or community rehabilitation centres

The Misuse of Drugs Act 1973 applies, with such exceptions or modifications as may be prescribed, to an inmate or to a person detained in an approved institution or a community rehabilitation centre pursuant to section 19T as if the inmate or person were —
(a)
an inmate as defined in section 2 of that Act; or
(b)
a person detained in an approved institution or a community rehabilitation centre pursuant to section 34 of that Act.
